It is a short walk, about half a mile, from the foodie high street of Stockbridge Hampshire.
Stockbridge has four pubs / hotels serving food and many cafes/coffee shops, including Prego, which serves Italian food; Meadow, a coffee shop; Test, a coffee shop; Tyme and Tides, a deli cafe; and TJ Brews, a cafe. There is an Indian Restaurant, The Purbami, and the Clos du Marquis French Restaurant.
There is also The Little Whisky Shop, and an excellent family butcher.
