Magdalen Cheese & Provisions is us, Rachel & Jacob. With 20 years of Cheesemonger-ing under our belt, it is our mission at Magdalen Cheese to bring traditional, farmhouse cheese to the modern table.

Our love story with cheese – and also each other – began at Neal’s Yard Dairy, one of very few British affineurs. Jacob spent 8 years working in cheese maturation at Neal’s Yard, where he built relationships with some of the finest British cheesemakers and developed his understanding of what a cheese needs to be the best version of itself. Rachel has focussed more on the retail aspect of the cheese biz, managing cheese shops and counters between London & Devon.
