Fodder Farm Shop and Café, located at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, is a celebrated destination for food enthusiasts seeking the finest local produce. Established in 2009 by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, Fodder is unique in the UK, with all profits supporting farming charities. The establishment collaborates with over 430 Yorkshire farmers and producers, ensuring that 85% of its offerings are sourced locally.

The farm shop boasts a diverse selection of fresh, locally sourced products, including meats, dairy, baked goods, and artisanal items. Adjacent to the shop, the bright and welcoming café serves a menu brimming with Yorkshire flavors. Patrons can enjoy hearty breakfasts, delectable lunches, and indulgent afternoon teas, all crafted from ingredients supplied by regional producers.

For those on the go, “Fodder on the Hoof,” a retrofitted 1960s Airstream located in the car park, offers a range of seasonal, quality hot and cold takeaway options.

In early 2025, Fodder underwent its first major refurbishment since opening, enhancing both the shop and café to accommodate even more Yorkshire suppliers and provide an improved customer experience.
